Full description of the play please? :D

Stand up double by the Jack Wilson to deep LF creates a situation where Paulino should be able to get home from first pretty easily, but he doesn't seem to commit to it until late.  He eventually does get waved around by the 3B coach as Church prepares to fire a shot to the plate, and starts picking up speed, but Church's throw is dead-on, and beats him to home plate.  Paulino didn't even slide, the moron.

I consider Snell their best pitcher, so we needed to win the other 2 games to carry the series.  Nice 2-run lead; let's not let that be the last of it.  Snell is 5-4 so he can be beaten.  I'm not at a TV, so let us know if they announce our draft picks.

How did Chico get out of the 1st inning without any runs? I saw the leadoff triple and figured that was good for at least 1 run.

Pretty ballsy pitching.  Two shallow fly balls to Austin Kearns, plus a called strike three on Jason Bay.

Ugh. Leadoff walk to the pitcher?  This might not end well...

Any Nationals pitcher who walks or gives up a hit to the opposing pitcher should be fined... and required to mop the dugout floor.  ONE WEEK!

They should also be fined for giving up the first home run of the season to any opposing player, which is what Chico just did.... idiot.

Nationals 2
Pirates 2

No woman for Chico... ONE WEEK!
And GET THE MOP FOR HIM!

For the top of the order, that was atrocious.

Yeah he looks awful at the dish, almost as if he doesn't want to hit.

7 pitches for 3 quick outs.  We need to wear out this, their best pitcher.
I have something for the new hitting coach and his plan to swing at first pitches:

We need a batter who can stand there and foul off 10 consecutive pitches.

We need to take the lead back this inning and hold on to it for the rest of the game.

Hey guys, I'm back. Had to run some errands.

2-2. Dmitri is ON FIRE at the plate right now!

Z-Man still mired in that slump.

We don't have anybody like that on our roster.  I watch other teams and there's always one or two batters who stand and the plate and hit six or seven foul balls, per at-bat.  That seems to be their reason for being in the lineup, driving up the opposing pitcher's pitch count.

Look, Tony Armas is in their bullpen.  We have to get to him!

I mean Dmitri's hitting is unreal. I keep thinking he's gonna cool of but he keeps on smashing the ball.

Anyways, how about Mr. Matt Chico?! He has really blossomed from the beginning of the yr.

how nice would it be if we could have both Young and Johnson in our lineup...
