If it were a choice of peyton or vick, peyton wins every time, unfortunately we have Beck. If we can get pryor with a 6th rounder- why not? It's not like we have a qb for next year yet and unexpected things can always happen during the draft. Worst case- he can't hack it as a pro qb and gets cut loose.

steve slaton has a bit of a hamstring injury, but i wonder if he's worth a gamble via trade (late round draft pick or something).

Why? I guess maybe as a change of pace type back, but I'd rather not trade away picks for not very good players.

he was pretty damn good a few years ago. he just didn't get many carries because of the emergence of foster.

Of course. Vick is not Shanahan's type of QB anyway. And there's no need in speculating about Pryor. There is no way Shanahan submits a bid for him. Although I can't blame him for that. I wouldn't take Pryor even if he was an undrafted FA unless he agreed to try to play TE but he definitely can't play QB.

Foster emerged last year, he didn't do much at all in '09 after his big rookie season. Flash in the pan. Like I said, good change of pace back but only if he's released and signed on the cheap.

I'm actually getting some hope for the season. D looks good, line looks good, backs look good. If beck or rex can play decently, an outside shot at the wild card isn't out of the question

Geesh... the stream of the game is a Colts feed... the announcers are pretty bad and also homers lol... I reckon that's how Colts fans would feel though if listening to a Skins feed of it. Last week it had to the Steelers broadcasters, this week the Colts... WTF?
