Is Ladson going to blame Dunn for going off the bag on that play?

Cubs hitters did Marquis a couple favors that inning.  Maybe the type of thing to get him a little more confidence.

Why not call off the bet and declare both pitchers craptastic.

Didn't some pitcher fire a ball into the fans after being taken out in the minors?

Based off my math, If Marquis pitches 6 innings with 0 ER, he would still finish behind Lannan.

Does that glove deception trick really work for Dempster? It's so annoying to watch

He's only trying to cover up the grip he's changing into. He's not trying to hide the ball.

Based off my math, If Marquis pitches 6 innings with 0 ER, he would still finish behind Lannan.
John Lannan - 3 starts, 8 ER, 17.33 IP, 4.15 ERA

Jason Marquis - 2 starts, 6 ER, 9 IP, 6 ERA

Last start for the bet. Go me.
6 ER in 9 IP.  If he pitched 6 shutout innings, thats 6/15 = .4 * 9 = 3.60 ERA.
