Too bad we can't see the pitch track, Ray.

At least they're easing Kimball into the bigs, you know, letting him get his feet wet while he adjusts.

And the pirates squandered at least two other runs tonight.

That's what happens when you walk the freakin 8 hitter to lead the inning off.

How is it his fault tonight?  Lannan walked the leadoff hitter a guy who is one of the worst hitters in baseball.

7th   A McCutchen tripled to deep right, R Cedeno scored.

$1+$1=$2
 $1+$1=$2

KIMBALL escapes the bullpen

Still a Quality Start (QS) for Lannan.

I have active dislike for John Lannan now.  I've never had that before.

Don't forget Lannan also walked Brandon Wood, the worst hitter in the history of MLB.

Nasty 3-2 pitch to get out of it. At least he stranded the runner at third.

Now it's on the offense who has done absolutely zilch against Maholm

LaRoche would have to hit, what, .350 the rest of the year to just have an "average" year?

If I was a manager/coach/in the front office, I couldn't hold my tongue about Adam LaRoche anymore.  I understand about not ripping players in public but LaRoche is closing in on Posada like numbers....and you see what happened to him!

But his defense makes him the equivalent of a .384 hitter. He saves at least two runs per game.

It's funny how all the games "we should have won" add up.
