35 minutes into Baseball Tonight  and no Nats highlights yet

Not even the Ozzie issue?

Just lost all respect for Larkin. He said Harper was trying to show up Ozzie and that Bryce was in the wrong.

What a blowhard. I thought he was better than that.

He likely was.

But you'll never get a unbiased look at the situation on WNFF. Nor should you expect it. We are fans, after all.

So, let's say he was?  What was Ozzie expecting him to do?  He was fishing for a reaction, probably more of one than he got.

Fishing for a reaction would have been calling him out during the first AB when he noticed the activity.

Supposedly he did, or at least he made it known to somebody and he came up with a different bat the next time.

Harper showed his bat to the umpire, that's it. It was not directed at Ozzie.

He did it so quietly that it wasn't even noticed by everyone but the players. Seems to be the opposite of fishing for a reaction.

Nope. The time after the incident he used the same AB. In his final AB he used a black bat

We didn't see it but it got noticed enough in the dugout that he used a different bat his next time up.  Whether he was showing it to the ump or mocking Ozzie, I don't know but he did get a reaction.

they described it differently after the game, but it doesn't matter, it got everybody wrankled and Ozzie got the attention.  Mission accomplished.

Yeah right, Harpers a shinking violet, he'd never intentionally try to piss off his opponent.

A clown, bro.

Ozzie fits. Maybe we should collect some money the shirts are about $25 each -- and some a few to Ozzie.

No big scoop there - ESPN.com had that up a couple of days ago. Also, the Braves series opens with Strasburg vs Hanson on Friday and Jackson vs Sheets on Saturday afternoon, and Jurrjens vs TBD (why no Detwiler?) on Saturday evening.

Per ESPN.com this has been revised - Jurrjens' start has been moved to Sunday (Nats starter TBD) and neither starter has been announced for the Saturday evening match.
