I don't mind giving up Freitas at all. Getting a major league caliber catcher is a plus.
But I'm not sure this is the right guy. Maybe I care more about offense from the catcher than the Nats' brain-trust, but I would have preferred Kottaras or Shoppach or someone like that.
If this guy starts to shut down the opponent's running game a little bit, then I'll come on board. Otherwise, I'm not sure this was that great a move.
