New to the forum.

Ive been a Nats fan since day one. I have attended many games at RFK (love that place). Taking my wife to the May 10th Game - it will be our first game at the new stadium.

I hope they can pull out of this funk by then and get the pictching straightened up.

Tom

Welcome.

The door hit me, but it was a screen door so I punched through it with a key to my shed.  I showed that door who is boss around here!

Yea, so, maybe the doom and gloom is pretty warranted.  If I get down on people's posts, I guess I just have to use ignore more!  Thick shell....

Been a Nats fan since they came to DC in 05, went to Opening days in '06 and '07 when I was living in DC.   Originally from VA (Shenandoah Valley - Staunton) which was Barves/O's territory growing up, but living up in NYC now.  Sick of hearing crap from Mets fans at this point.

Gooooooooooood morning everyone! (As it is here.)

I'm a UK-based Nats fan pointed this way by one of your moderators who saw I posted on reddit! I won't claim to be the biggest fan-boy and know-it-all when it comes to Nationals baseball, so hopefully you'll all hold my hand and guide me through this adventure as I broaden my fandom! Being so far away it's hard to immerse myself fully in the lifestyle of being a fan but I'll be doing my best!

Before I sign this off: glad to see LaRoche has snapped the streak!

Hey all.. Just joined last night. (Found the site via google) Said "hey" in the Atl game 1 GDT, but again, Im a DC native who moved to FL. in 97.. Still follow the Skins, Caps, Bullets and now the Nats.. Really hope they dont turn into the Caps.. (ie: regular season hero's then fizzle fast) Although at the moment, some regular season heroics would be nice.. Hopefully tomorrow they can get a W @ Atl.. Was hard to watch tonights game.. (Literally, a storm came through and froze DirecTv.)  :mg:

Welcome, Mick.  Like the avatar. I'm thinking the way the team is playing, they should all just relax and listen to some Dead (can't light up because of MLB drug testing).

hello -  first, sorry for the belated intro. second, thank you for letting me in.
I came to the Nats with Strasburg. have always loved MLB but cut it off completely
when the strike gave me no world series....got kinda intrigued when Sosa & Mac were on their HR
tear then left again. but Strasburg really got me interested again and through watching him I became
a fan of the Nats. discovered Werth,  the Zimmermans,  Morse, even Carp & FP. I really enjoy watching
these guys play ball. then along came Harper to cement the deal. I think Bryce is this generations
Mickey Mantle and count myself lucky to be able to watch him. you could argue that I'm a late-coming, band wagoner who will jump ship if the Nats aren't competitive, and i admit that could happen,  but here I am today and loving it.
watch the Nats on MASN2 in North Carolina
also I kinda like haiku
