Needed the win, but our offense is still garbage.  That probably was the most runs we score all series.

Zimmerman will get hot again soon. This has happened many times before. He's a streaky #3 hitter, which sucks, but at least that means he won't be cold forever.

He's on base for dunn then. They are giving him less pitches to hit this year. I'll take a 3 walk night.
Way to go-Capps!  I don't think you understand my posts.  Where did I mention anything about walks being bad or Dunn?  I just said he(Zimmerman) is not seeing the ball very well and because of it the walk is his only weapon.  I don't like others here say someone stinks/sucks or should be DFA'd due to understanding how hard it is to be/get in the bigs.

You said he isn't paid to walk. I'm not calling you out, I just disagree that its a problem. People said the same at the beginning of the season about Dunn, then Dibble said he's right about to start killing the ball, and lo and behold he did. I think these guys are rebooting their batting eye. Not swinging at bad pitches could be the first step. Just a theory.

Coming into tonight, Zimm's line in his last 10 games was .146 / .182 / .220 / .401.  I honestly don't know if you'll find a worse 10-game stretch in his entire career to date.

They are happy about Lannan being demoted. This was the Fangraphs room after the Lannan news

He walked three times, but I was only watching the game out of one eye so I really can't say.

Sorry about the delay, I went to run.  I hope so also(first step).  Just to me watching him in the box and his body motion makes me believe me is lost.  4 PA's tonight 3 walks great but another K(5 in a row this weekend) in the other.  Maybe we should send him some of the softcore stuff we are posting.
