It seems like our offense woke up in the 6th inning last night and hasn't gone to bed since.

Looks like the team felt it had something to prove after last night.

It's about bleep-bleepin time, too  :x

dude seriously you are the worst doom and gloom nay-sayer here.  Please cut it out.  If you're going to be negative at least give reasons and make observations or something so it's a little more interesting than "oh woe is me".  Save the negativity until AFTER they lose, if that be the case

You can honestly look at what's happening in this game, right now, and not have a rumbling in your stomach?

My stomach is rumbling because bad things happen, repeatedly, to this team at the worst possible moment.

Of course I do, but these are the cardiac Nats.  Every single game we play is like this.  Obviously we haven't lost them all, so I see no reason to wring my hands until it's OVER over.

Alright Esteban.  Good job pitching yourself both into, and out of, trouble.  Bring in the relief for Inning No. 7 and let's score some runs here to put it beyond reach.

well, gotta get ready to go have dinner with mah Grandma. and then from there, I head to the MCI Center for WWE SummerSlam.

hold the fort down, and let's hope we can hold the lead here, and our boys can come home with Positive Vibes.

There must be something in the air.  The Tigers are beating Toronto 9-0 in the bottom of the second.

Detroit's up 15-3 in the 7th.

And....we escape unscathed thanks to a three-pitch K by Eischen.  Nice.

GET SOME RUNS, NATS.

Dammit.  Vidro's colder than a witch's you-know-what today.  I think GUUUZ did some voodoo stuff before the game to transfer his negative mojo up the batting order.

Is that true, what Mel Procter just said, that Church was supposed to be the lead off hitter but got injured in spring training?

So we've been stuck with Brad Wilkerson and his strikeouts?

Er....so why wasn't he made leadoff as soon as he got back?

I guess I should know by now not to be surprised by the inscrutable managing decisions of FR.
