LF Willingham, CF Bernadina, RF Morse. The outfield is set so lets go out and sign Dunn at First base!!!

Hammer cannot be counted on to stay healthy.  Adding a 4th OF to the mix, especially if its a Crawford, Werth or Rasmus type, is necessary for the next 2-3 years while guys like Burgess, Hood, Perez, Ramirez etc. continue to work their way up.

A speed and defense CF should actually be able to play good defense and slide by age 30.

My only defense is he was called up at 26 and playing full time at 27... still though. He's 30. :judge:

How hard can the ground be in PITT?  They keep talking about how hard the ball bounces there.

...unless they can get Crawford or Werth...

If Morse can keep hitting like he has been, I don't think we'd need to get Werth. Crawford would be nice, though.

Apparently they decided on lava rock for their infield "dirt."

Great hustle! That's why you can turn your head on a few errors by Desmond.

I would like to know the stat on how many of Desmond's errors produced a unearned run. I bet its low. 32 errors.  5 unearned runs?

And the pitching change allows Marquis to sit and relax in the dugout after running the bases.  Beautiful.

Another comment about the hard ground.
