Ugh.  I was pumped to watch again for the first time in over a week but now that I see Wang is starting I think I'll drink heavily and watch pictures instead.  :?

I'd rather have a doubleheader on Wednesday than lose the day before the Phillies series.

Radar shows Chicago in the clear for at least the past half-hour or so, but they seemed pretty anxious to call this one without waiting very long.  Meanwhile, in Cincinnati, they've been waiting out a rain delay for a couple of hours now.

Sounds to me like you have no further reason to be at work.  People can't be expected to work under such extreme circumstances.

This is correct, i always have the games on in the background. I chose to watch the mets get hammered which is just as fun as seeing us win

Slowes and Jageler were saying the re-scheduling is 'as it should be' because it simply isn't a Cubs home series without at least one day game. (And as far as weather-wussiness, which club was it that earlier this season postponed a weekday afternoon match because of a 'threat of rain' that never actually materialised?)

After Slowes and Jageler signed off I switched over to AM-980 to catch the rest of Woes-Chisox (Woes gave up two runs in the eighth to lose, 7-6). Interestingly, that match drew nearly 4000 more attendance than the Sunday afternoon match immediately preceding.

There couldn't have been 4,000 people there last night though.  The Woes are going to give the Marlins a run for the money in crappy attendance this season.

MDS you do know that the Nats(-1,472) per game attendance is down more this year than the Orioles(-106).  The per game attendance figures are Wash- 22,821 vs Balt- 21,616 for 2011.    :panic: Get :panic: Strasburg :panic: up :panic: here :panic: now :panic:
