OT: Insane block by Sellers in last week's preseason game: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v508/Riggins/Steelers%20vs%20Redskins%202009/?action=view¤t=MikeSellers.flv
I would hope so, that is how it should be with most (if not all) veteran pitchers.
FailBlog.orgI read it all the time - hilarious. What word should that be?!?!
This will be a tough one; Who was the last Cubs pitcher to throw a no-hitter? He had a perfect game bid broken up on a walk to the 27th batter he faced.
No FOODor EATINGbeyond this point.I like it the way it is though jk
But it is moreso with him. All pitchers want to stay in. But you can tell when a Smoltz is done. I've seen Livo go 150, and it means nothing for him to go 130. He's the rare rubber arm. He knows how to pitch in a way that puts little stress on his arm. In his mind, he pitches the entire game. It is not a question of pitch counts. It is a question of whether he is effective. Riggs can't treat him like the others. As long as the game is within a couple of runs, Livo should continue.
Livan badly needs a DP here.
