Everyone pray for rain - tons of lightning in the distance.
Too late for that.

Not a bad job. With Hawpe up, it could have been much worse. We need 1 more out though

It seems clear that Stammen is best suited for long relief.

Manny would never do what Riggs just did. It's time to sign him officially.

It's too late Bob.  The game is tied, which means we have to outscore them from now on.

The odds are not good for us.

Absolutely.  When he goes bad, he goes bad fast and it always happens at about the same time.

Now watch as they sit Bergmann and bring in some other random pitcher next inning.

If it's Rivera, I turn off the game.

How long has Rivera been back?  Has he been any good?

It would have been really nice to open this series with a win.  :'(

his sinker/curve combo would be great to come in to induce double plays.  by the third time thru the line-up he's toast usually.

I only know of 1 appearance where he was suprisingly good (2 weeks ago Thurs when I was there)

We're getting much better performance out of the bottom of the lineup than the top.

Guzman, Zimmerman and Dunn have done nothing tonight.

If Jason Bergmann and Craig Stammen could both be money out of the bullpen, then with Storen and the Klej we'd be scary after the 6th inning.
