I think tonight is the night Manny loses his temper.

That would make this game worth watching.

I hope so. He should have gotten thrown out after the first base umpire blew a very easy call that cost us a run.

Maybe Aaron Boone really wasn't talking about injuries. These guys could give a rats ass and it shows.

He's the next Sandy Koufax if you read alot of the posts around here...
I'm off the bandwagon. The only guy I truly believe in is Lannan. Hill is good but he's got that health issue thing.  :?

I'm utterly serious: if we get swept by the cheap-ass no revenue Bucs - I'm hanging it up for the season.

At least if you're going to give up on a season, don't throw crap out there like Redding and Perez... let us see the prospects.

Nice 1-pitch pop out, Boone. I think that is what he meant. The majority of these guys are mailing it in.

I was just talking about starting pitchers. Guz is having a great year but I'm not fully convinced we should re-sign him.

Look at Manny...he looks like he's contemplating how to loop a rope in the dugout.  :hang:

Opponent pitchers SALIVATE when the Nats come into town... This will be a career night for Malholm.

Me too. I believe he is the only one on this team that can honestly bring us anything at the trade deadline.

0-2 count and then gives up a single 2 pitches later on a hanging slider. It'd really benefit us if our pitchers threw much more fastballs as opposed to hanging breaking pitches in the middle of the plate.

So that's an out, but the one in the first inning wasn't? Someone care to explain this to me?

Malholm bunts into a DP on purpose. The Pirates are just rubbing it in at this point. They figure 3 runs are more than enough to win so I'm sure they'll try to get out as quick as possible to get this game over with.
