Nah, nothing that bad. Just cut Rick Eckstein loose on him.

8 to 0.

Hanson is good obviously but when you give him pitches 6 inches off of all sides of the plate you have no freaking chance.

The Nats have bent over too to accommodate.

humiliating.

9 Ks to 0 BBs. career start for Tommy Hanson and he likely has another inning in him to get double digit Ks.

It's too bad he's facing Washington because I like watching Hanson pitch.

8 to 0. I didn't think anyone had walked.  great, 9 to 0 now.

He's pitching fine enough without the umpire's schizo strike zone, but combined with the calls he's untouchable.

he also gave up 5 hits, 3 runs, and 3 walks in that game. And the Giants offense is horrible.

This outing is far more impressive even though the umpire has been in his back pocket all game.

This is a nightmarish way to end a winning streak.

The Nats are 32 games under .500 and have the worst record in baseball despite going on a fluke 8 game winning streak.  Hopefully we bounce back quickly and don't let the losses mount like what usually happens with this team after a winning streak ends.

The Nationals now have 4 more losses than the Royals, 6 more than the Orios and Pirates and Padres, and 9 more than the Reds.  Bowden, Acta and Randy St. Claire are gone, along with Cabrera and a host of other garbage.  Riggleman wants the job and knows he has to win.
