fantastic stop and a great throw to second base. Edwin got very lucky

not sure that inning is on Edwin at all, he did fine.

What about Edwin and Lombo? 8)

why should anyone blame anyone else, when whenever your boys freak up ... you automatically defer blame to someone else.

e-jax got one out, a grounder to 2nd that was an in between tough play, then walked morrison.  but he got two big outs (and help from zim).

There was also the issue of him not being able to catch fly balls. Or throws to the plate.

People were complaining about those too--moreso him being unable to make plays at the plate, which Flores really hasn't done much of lately that I can remember.  Going back to last year, I think Ramos is a perfectly fine defensive catcher.  I think people were really harsh on him at the beginning of the year and I think the biggest impetus for that was the wild pitches, not a handful of throws from the outfield.

I can't imagine how much better we'd be with Wilson Ramos.

This doesn't look like 2011 Morse.

I imagine if Ramos was still playing, ppl would be calling for Flores to play more...the grass is always greener.  attababy ESPI!!!

I'm having to listen to the Marlins announcers. They are quite biased, but overall not too terrible. Have nice energy at least.

night and day how much better he is than flores.  flores is a backup.  not his fault ramos got hurt, but he hasn't done much to make me think he can handle the everyday job.  if we were some offensive juggernaut, we could get away with him being our 8 hitter and doing a good job with the staff (which he has done, but he can't throw anyone out) ... but we don't.
