It'll be awesome if we can get a full 7 out of Pedro.

So much for that :(  Thanks a lot Nationals defense!

And yeah I know, I jinxed it

Whoaaaaa the NATS HAVE DEFENSE?
Except for 1st, 3rd and behind the plate, it's pretty mediocre

This is bad all the way around.  The got an extra inning out of Lowry and then his pinch hitter gets a hit, knocking our starter out.  :x

With Shea Hillenbrand batting, Randy Winn picked off and caught stealing 2nd base, pitcher Mike Stanton to first baseman Nick Johnson to second baseman Marlon Anderson.

Bravo. Hopefully that gives us some momentum going into the bottom half.

Now we pinch hit for Stanton after only 5 pitches.

If Pedro had made it through that inning we could pinch hit now and still have Stanton available...

Ugh!

The Nats better put a run on the board this inning, because Lowry does NOT deserve to get any credit for a win.

Good ol' D. Ward.  I wish the other half of the moonshot club was still with us :(
