Alright, not bad, Bacsik! More than I ever expect out of him. It's hard for me to expect much out of someone that lives off throwing meat balls. That's why I want more out of the oface.

So we got "meat ball" Bacsik and "beach ball" Bergmann  :icon_mrgreen:

Kearns with a big one!

That has to be Kearns' game. Eventually he'll hit some with runners aboard, Zimmerman and Young could've been on base for that if not for Young being thrown out at second.

Bergmann can at least hit 89, though. :)

Bacsik having some good ABs tonight.. Alright Mike, I don't think it's too much to ask for him to give us 1 more scoreless inning

So the lead is back to 3. That's tonight's number. It's creepy to think of that when you see wpa's post count

Did anyone notice it seemed Bergmann's velocity was down a bit after coming off the DL? I remember him being in the 91-92 range and occasionally hitting 93, but seems to be upper 80's since he returned.

The offense is REALLY getting Bacsik's back tonight. He needs to do his part...just one more inning please!

Yep ... winning by 3,333 runs tonight would be GREAT!

He has the bottom of the lineup due up but that doesn't make me feel any better. I would like to get 2 more innings out of Bacsik in light of tomorrow's double header but maintaining the lead is our number 1 priority.

You're definitely right. He hit 93 quite a few times in his 10 K performance. Can't wait until that's back. We need AT LEAST one pitcher who can throw 93+.

That doesn't necessarily mean he's been pitching well; more like the hitters are too tempted by his beachballs, and swing early.

Redding has been clocked at 94.
