Flores doesn't seem like he'd be content catching 30-40 games a year. If we trade anyone I'd bet it would be him. Norris will start the year at AAA and we'll look to sign a 30-something catcher comfortable in a backup role.
I think Flores could beat out Ramos as his max potential. If he excels Davey will play him. It's a longshot but worth taking.
Mind you I'm not opposed to trading him should the right deal be struck, but his value would be enhanced greatly by showing he's MLB ready, beyond Venezuala ready.
