Show is meh. Walter is a douche and I hope the cancer wins.

Oh badass! A local movie theater is hosting a watch party on the big screen. It'll be hundreds of people watching Breaking Bad on a movie screen. Free. I'm so there.

Agree.  Classic showdown.  I felt like the beginning and ending were awesome with a lot of fluff in the middle.  It sure sets up for an interesting final stretch.

I'm glad they didn't beat around the bush for a few episodes.

I don't know about fluff, man.

- Walt and Hank understand each other
- Meth distributor lady is gonna try and pull Walt back in
- Creepy new meth cook didn't appear, but he sucks at cooking and he's a series regular in the credits now, so you know Walt's gonna get sucked back in
- Jesse hit bottom and he doesn't give a crap about his own life anymore
- Saul gets office visit blowjobs
- Cancer's back
- STAR TREK pictures SCRIPT YO

I think a couple of those are very minor if not no stories.  Lol@ Star Trek and BJ's.

I thought Jesse trying to give the money to some deserved people was honorable but him just throwing stacks of cash out the windows was dumb.  Think there will be backlash from that?  What was the purpose of Walter lying to Jesse about killing Mike?  Just trying to bring him out of his depression?

Because Walt...

Is a sociopath and will lie about just about anything.

The first half is dead on but I'm not sure about the second.  I don't know why that rubbed me wrong.  Great first episode though.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is foreshadowing Hank trying to get Jesse to testify against Walt. Which, we all know how comfy that relationship is.

Can we make this thread like the Walking Dead one and do away with the spoiler masks? If you don't want to know that Walt warned Hank to tread lightly, don't click on the Breaking Bad thread.

Personally, this is my opinion, and I have no evidence of this being the truth so I'm not using spoilers but I think Walter might be the only one making it out of this alive and I think his cancer goes into remission and he takes the ricin.

PB that's fine I would hate for someone to read this and find things out.  But again to make it to the fourth page of a thread and not expect to see anything would be quite foolish.

Great first episode back. Loved the Star Trek skit.

Can't stand manic depressed Jesse, wake him up, can't have him moping around all season. The throwing away of the cash will not only bring the cops to his door, it'll make the news, making Walt regret not taking him out.

Interesting counter points of Hank and Walt, Hank is much stronger physically, but Walt is clearly in control emotionally.

Walt is a definite sociopath, with no guilt over the murders or the harm he caused to Hank, the bad lies stated with absolute conviction, and the lack of concern for the safety of his kids.

I kind of wish it was a short season that focused solely on the war between Walt and Hank, I'm worried that in order to fill episodes there will be some lamer plot lines with Lydia.

So, who gets the ricin? Jesse, Hank, Skylar?

That's why I think Jesse winds up in an interrogation room with Hank and Hank offers to cut him a deal.

Can't get much shorter than eight episodes.

Oh, by the way, I love how at the start of the show, Walt was trapped working at a car wash in a job he hated, and now Walt is trapped working at a car wash in a job he hates.

But Hank appears to be free in the flash forward unless that's after serving a short jail term or before heading to jail?  Gets the ricin to take himself instead of joint to prison?

You mean Walt? That presumes he will be caught...

Saw a pretty interesting fan theory that Skyler's dead by the time of the flash forward, because Walt arranging the birthday bacon mirrors how he adopts all the weird food habits of people he kills (like cutting crust off his sandwiches).

Damnit yes Walt not Hank.  I do that often for some reason.

And I meant the flash forward to begin last nights episode.  That theory could hold water though.
