Now wait a minute, I'm calling bull$hit here: "Aside from Bryce Harper, who stopped short of proposing a trade, this is the only person on the internet interested in bringing Stanton to DC"

It does not specifically say "only Nats fan", it says "only person".

Ray D gets a shoutout in Baseball Prospectus.

How does the writer know that Ray D is a person?  He could be a bot that generates trade proposals by using the roster, the NFA big board, and various prospect rankings to generate trade proposal postings.

Input trade target name.  Use ranking of value.  Assemble equivalent value of Nats pieces.

Very simple.

Well, considering we have no place to play him anyway, makes sense we are the fans least interested in making fake proposals.

I took it to be tongue in cheek.  He was just trying to put something from every club's fans out there.

I just found it amusing because Stanton's biggest fanboi is a regular poster here.

Right here baby. I've been on this gravy train for a while

We play him in LF. Bryce in RF. Werth and his 256/.349/.407 career here in DC can either sit on the bench or be traded to the Dodgers.

not seeing it either, but if we could get Soriano and Vazquez to add to this pitching staff and lineup easy 100+win season.

It's originating from two Spanish language guys, Martin Rodriguez @martinrodiv and Hector Gomez @hgomez27. Looks like they're in the DR, which is Soriano's home country.

Not buying it yet. But.

You can't judge relievers on the same scale, and it's just money.

WPA (win probably added) is generally accepted as better for relievers, although not perfect. Soriano is 6th among relievers over the past 5 years in WPA at almost 2 wins a season.

Last 3 years? Soriano is FIRST in WPA. So we just added the best reliever in the majors.

Also, you gotta wonder if something's coming with Morse and Clippard/Storen, amirite?

Yeah, Morse and Clippard/Storen seems inevitable at this point, and it will bring back something nice and shiny.
