If Church is out, maybe those who want it will get their wish and bring Darnell McDonald up.

I want my 1000th post to come during a Nationals win and I want it to be a memorable one. So I'm going to be choosing my 999th and 1000th post wisely.

Their pitcher can get two hits but our pitchers, collectively, can't get one bunt!

Manny Acta HAS to launch into an expletive laden tirade after this game.

This is unacceptable.  UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Eric Bedard ain't no damn Hall of Famer!
That can be true, but it seems having the day of his live...

Bedard singled to left center, Mora scored, Bako to second.

And now for a word from Sportsfan882...

I passed 3,000 posts this weekend sometime, so just go for it...

Alright I'm going to end the day on my 999th post. My 1000th post needs to be somewhat memorable and further commenting on this game doesn't qualify.

Langerhans with a 1 pitch out.. this is so inexcusable.  If I were Manny, heads would roll after this game.

Just use Remove to get rid of posts, one at a time, to keep yourself at 999...
FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!  People will go crazy anticipating the 1000th.

Bedard is from CANADA.  That explains everything.  Ask Shawn Hill.  We are doomed.

Bako and Markakis are the only players who haven't been on base today for the the Orioles.

Add Markakis to the on-base list.

What happened to church?

Hit, loudly, by a pitch, on the hand.

Hit by pitch on his throwing hand or arm.  Contusion, and they're getting an X-ray.
Bowden says that the Nationals lead all of MLB in MRIs.

Remember when they didn't give Brian Laurence one before trading for him last year.  Thankfully they've learned their lesson.
