Sitting Strasburg is the worst decision since Royal Navy Captain Carden decided that since his frigate, the Macedonian, was being shot to pieces at long range by the heavy guns of Stephen Decatur's USS United States, Macedonian should move in very close...where Decatur's ship had even heavier guns.

Sitting Strassburg is the worst decision since General Ross, just outside Baltimore, said "I don't care if it rains militia", about two minutes before a Maryland  militia rifleman put a bullet through his head.

Sitting Strasburg is the worst decision since General Packenham decided to attack Andrew Jackson's army behind a levee topped with guns and gunners from USS Louisiana and USS Carolina, a levee that sat behind a ten foot ditch that the British troops could not cross...and, who, therefore, had to stand for a half hour at about 50 yards from the American guns.
