On a positive note, we have committed zero fielding errors so far tonight.  Washington leads MLB in both errors and a lack of DPs.

They were obviously listening to you.

Did I jinx the team?  Nick's 13th lucky error within seconds after I posted this!
Or are the Nationals trying to set some kind of franchise or MLB record for errors.

  • Hell yes!
On the plus side, Wagner had another in a string of fine outings.  It is looking more and more like St. Claire has made a lot of progress in helping him get back to where he was before the Reds messed him up.  If so, a nice additional benefit to the trade.

Vidro should have gotten to that one.. We give 'em right back like usual.  Seriously, why is Grybowski up here??!! He is old and can't pitch anymore. Why not call up someone young in the minors??
Calling up youngyuns before they are ready can do more harm than good.

Alright, don't call up any "youngin" then. Call up one of the 27-29 year old pitchers in N.O. (Watkins, Bouknight, Booker, Good, Rueckel).  3 Run shot.  I called this.

That means the Phillies will soon have double digit runs.

They're almost there.

Kevin, why don't you just retire.  You're 33 and you're not going to get any better.
You say that like 33 is old!

Well it's 4 years younger than me but I don't suck at my profession the way he does at his.  :P

Ryan Howard equalled or just broke the Phillies franchise record homers in one season.  Glad to be of service.  We will send you the bill for our hazardous waste (of talent)...

Wow.  We are officially the NL's Royals, in the fact that winning a game is a rarity, and you can always expect to be losing.

Our offense is that of a contending team.  Our pitching sucks HARD  :x

Well, at least we know what we have to fix.

Don't encourage yourself.  It will only make it harder on ya next year.

Of course I'm hoping he stays...but let me ask you: If you were Soriano and you wanted a no-trade clause in your contract (to which Kasten never gives)...would you want to stay here?   :|

If the only thing blocking him from signing is a no-trade clause, and Kasten doesnt give him one, all of Washington will hate him.
