That's a nice surprise to watch this day game.
Dont have to wait till Sunday.
Cannot watch tomotrrow though..

You should reserve judgment for after the series. You may not consider the carnage a pleasant surprise.

Here we go.  Randy St. Claire to the mound - but not before taking a nip of Jack Daniels.

Christ.  I struggle listening to Santo.  He's like a more annoying and less intelligent version of John Madden.

That's funny as hell dude. But is that even possible?

Reminds me of a phrase:

"The thing about optimists...they're never pleasantly surprised."

I love what Sutton is saying. He's dead on. This era is made up mostly of physically weak and weak minded pitchers.

Santo hasn't added an intelligent comment in 1o years.  All he says is "absolutely" or "I agree" or mumbles and stammers.

If you won't take my word for it, tune into XM-184 and hear for yourself.

I'm telling you, it sounds like he's drunk and masturbating.

You guys are tempting me to switch channels just to see if you guys are exaggerating or dead on point. Nevermind, he's actually on the radio. I thought he was on WGN.

If you do a transcript of just Santo's commentary, you would never know what happened.

He does drink -- part of the ongoing criticism of Ron here in Chicago is his tendency to imbibe, and then for him to be a crusader for diabetes.  He has lost both his feet to diabetes, and many point out that had he taken better care of himself, he wouldn't have had to have such extreme treatment.  I'm not so sure about criticizing a crippled man because he's crippled, but despite that,  Ronnie is still a tool.

Its WGN radio.

Hughes and Santo are now mocking the ineptness of the Nats.  Like the Cubs have such a history of dominance.

damnit. We suck so much. Getting no-hit by Marquis is laughable.
