I wonder if any of this to do w/ the difficulty of switching from being a RP to a SP.  I've been told that it isn't as easy as it sounds.

Now we know why St Claire came out there...to delay and give Rivera time to loosen up...

Just an awful outing for Levale - the wheels just fell off after that walk in the last inning ... ugh ... tough spot for Saul here ...

Rivera doesn't exactly bring the word confidence to mind either.

Where did it show Speigner's pitches on the walk? Could you tell? Is it accurate??

Sorry, I ducked out to take care of some yard work.  Sometimes they play better without my oversight...

He's a whole hell of a lot better than Speigner and most of the other pitchers on the team.  In terms of relievers, I would rate Saul 3rd on the team only behind Chief and Rauch.

Manny has FINALLY learned that walking a man in is a yankable crime (something that Psycho did repeatedly in an early start.)
Speigner has been putting up ducks...

Wells walked, Lind scored, McDonald to third, Rios to second. (89/fastball)
Nationals 2
Blue Jays 6

:bang: How can this be the same team that won 5 out of 6 against Minnesota and Baltimore?

This stadium is just a house of horrors for us!

Can we please not play in Toronto again, next year?  Though I still don't know why we're playing there THIS YEAR!!!

Agreed.  Why in the F do we have to go up to freaking Canada every year?  They are a boring team, not a rival, and we always suck against them.

And a JINX, as Saul hits a batter with the bases LOADED.

Nationals 2
Blue Jays 7

Speigner did... Rivera hit a batter to score the 7th run but it's still charged to Speigner

Yeah ...it's unfortunate that ball got away from Saul ... he otherwise did an admirable job all things considered ...

Isn't this the last year we play Toronto in innerleague play?
