I just ran a splitter into my modem and then ran a coax into my tv... got cheaper cable now ;)
How much is there? Don't you still need a TV box?

My antenna was about $45. OtA HD is the bomb. So much better than Comcast. But so much less of it.

My digital TVs pick up a bunch of channels. Some analog, some digital.

And if you cut the cord, you'll probably need to invest in more than a $10 antenna.

Basically whatever OTA digital HD channels. About 35 or so, some duplicates but hey, I'm now paying $39.99 a month for tv and internet. I get the big 4 and I also pick up some regular channels too but they are a bit fuzzy.

they're all digital now. There's no more analog TV signals.

Right, what I meant was all digital, some in HD.

I wonder if you are getting "cable" or just OTA channels over coax that's long enough to be a TV antenna...

It's a bit of both. Some are standard, channel 9 etc the rest are like 101-11 112-102 etc. Sub channels?

Yep, That's more digital OTA (I get those on my OTA rooftop antenna).

Interesting. If using Comcast's coax as an OTA antenna really works, it would be truly ironic.

I get that set up here with Cox. The nag is finding the HD channels. Fox is at 5 for digital and something like 62.1 for HD.

It's coming through on comcast's signal, it's not using your coax wiring as an antenna.  My sister only has the internet package and also gets the channels Terp describes, I think it's just how it's set up that they're tied to the broadband signal.

It's odd that the big 3 are coming in on the big 3 station numbers. Or maybe that's not what TF said. Is that where they come through on Comcast basic?  I didn't think that any Comcast channels would come through without a set top box...

Makes sense.

None of these channels are MASN, right? :)

The sense I was getting from TF76 was that he was getting them without a cable box...

Gotta say I thought Grace Point was worth it.  Felt the final episode was solid and liked the overall arc of the show.

I see the ending differs from the original. That's good. Not enough to convince me to trudge through the same story again though.

So this is what I've learned in six seasons of Sons of Anarchy: If Jax calls you brother, he's either going to hug you, have you killed, or both.

We are watching the DVR of that show right now - a little corny or poorly prepared.  But the ending is great
