If he pitched better he would get to pitch more frequently. It goes hand in hand. He has stunk every time the Nats have called him up. That's why he has never stuck up here. He'll get a chance with another organization.

You've sucked horribly this year - repeatedly calling "game" as if all is lost, only for the team to rally and prove you wrong.  Having no concept whatsoever as to what Johnson is doing when he manages for the full season vs. the current inning.  Calling for Clippard no matter what the situation in the game.  If you were managing Clippard would have 200 inning already.

Should everyone here treat you like garbage too?

Well, I think I'm heading out.  Got two other shutouts to take in this weekend and my hero Yunesky Maya is warming up.  :hang:

At least Balestar's ERA took a beating. Good.

Nice.

I would prefer Hudson's ERA take a beating, but that's just me.

They're a good team. Its not like they're the Marlins and only beat us. They beat lots of teams this year.

Actually, when they play the Nationals, they're not a good team.  They're about equal to us, all the time.  And they were playing badly coming into this game.

That's sad if that's the case, I just had no idea who he was.  Sounds like we lost another good one  Where did you listen to the old broadcasts at?  I'll have to check them out.

They did some rebroadcasts on XM 175 (the MLB channel) a couple of years ago where they rebroadcast games called by Frick award winners.  He was a terrific caller of games, working solo of course.

And when we play the Phillies we're better than them? I think not.

The Braves are a 90+ win team this year. We aren't and wont be for a while.

That changes nothing about how we've played against them.  How many games they win against everybody else is irrelevant.  WE play them equally.

I remember a game in April when we were down by six... to the Braves, I think. And we won that game in one big inning... was it the Braves?

Pudge to hit?  I didn't even know he was still on the roster.

Getting a nice hand, perhaps his last at bat for the Nats?  For career?

Pudge gets an ovation whenever he pinch hits. I don't quite understand it, but okay.
So what does Pudge do?
