Oh man, this game (so far) has made my day. Solid enough pitching with some actual Major League offense. This is what I was expecting coming into the season. We just need to start winning some series now and slowly, maybe.....

After this game they have lost 4 of their last 5 games. Hopefully this keeps them going in the wrong direction.

Winning 2 out of 3 this weekend would be huge. That would give us a 4-3 week with plenty of winnable home games on tap for the next few weeks.

my goal for this home-stand was to get the record creeping up to .500, hopefully tonight's explosion will get us going!

i always say that after every freaking win, "hopefully this win will get us going", but i truly believe tonight's outburst will indeed get us going.

I doubt we'll see him this weekend and I'm glad of it. He's banged up. We'll have our hands full with Aramis, Lee, and Fukodome.
