Seems like a horrible time to bench Zimmerman in favor of Boone.  We'll see...

I agree, especially considering Zimmerman is so $$$$ on Holidays.

r.z. is getting the day off so he can rest his shoulder...

should be a pitchers duel, sheets vs the berg and his newfound confidence/dominance.

let's take 3/4!

Looks like a 3-2 or 2-1 type of game here. Our offense will more than likely waste another nice effort by Berg. Anyways, it's a new day and I hope I'm wrong. Let's go NATS.

we also need a series win today so we can carry some momentum to the west. we all know our past vs the padres isn't a good one, they've OWNED us. overall, we don't play very well on the west coast period.

the padres do blow this yr though, so we should be able to at least take 2 of 3.

the d-backs are gonna be tough though.  :?

it was Zimmerman's choice. Acta gave him eitherr Sunday or Monday off, and he chose today.

anyhow, Charlie and Dave for me today. my daughter is monopolizing the TV.

Sheets looks perfectly hittable.  Harris' and Young's outs were hard-hit balls that just happened to be caught.

I hope we aren't going to have to put up with the Holier-Than-Thou-as-Long-as-The-Team-is-Winning thing for the whole game thread.
