« Topic Start: April 02, 2012, 08:59:32 PM »
Chief sent you e-mail, not sure if there is one already started and not sure what section to put this in ... but yeah thought it'd be a good idea to get one started.

I used to love their podcast before it got over-produced, their blog is still a great source

rank these SS in order in terms of your projected fantasy production:

Jed Lowrie (HOU)
Brandon Crawford (SF)
Tyler Pastornicky (ATL)
Clint Barmes (PIT)

Lowire is more of a good bat, meh field, guy with health issues.  Keep him on the field, keep his wrists OK, and he could be .800+ OPS.

in a mixed league with less that say 15 teams, Lowrie is the only one I wouldn't expect to see the waiver wire at some point this season

good point guys.

i have it as:

Lowrie
Crawford
Barmes
Pastornicky

i think it's just I don't know much of Tyler Pastornicky, so I have him last.

Huh, Lohse was available in my fantasy league. Scooped him up and dropped J. Sanchez.

Thinking about trading away BGS in a roto league. Last night really soured me on his HR potential this year.

BGS with 30 HR's is good... but you draft him expecting 40-50, not a mere 30.

And you'll easily find someone who will give you a lot for him.

Lets turn this into a profit.

Here's my team.

C - Avila
1B - Miggy
2B - Kinsler
3B - Lawrie
SS - Aybar (yuck)
OF - Choo
OF - Stanton
OF - Chris Young
UTI - Morales
Bench - Goldschmidt
Bench - Ryan Roberts

SP - Lee
SP - Morrow
SP - Daniel Hudson
SP - Luebke
SP - Kuroda
SP - Matt Moore
RP - Rivera
RP - Balfour
RP - Guerra
RP - Melancon
RP - Greg Holland

Where can I improve?

Cats are as follows.

H/R/HR/RBI/SB/BB/K/AVG/OPS

W/L/CG/SHO/SV/BB/K/ERA/WHIP

I think you've got a good team. Only worries for me would be Choo and C. Young. I like C. Young, but I don't think he'll be a great fantasy player this year. If you could move one of them for a SB threat, I'd go for it.

Thanks to Linty for pointing out that I had a couple of guys on the DL.  Now who the heck do I replace them with for the time being?

Maybe Doumit (for position flexibility) and Dempster?

Craaap, didn't think about rosters locking at the first game of the day.

Should have played roto- positions lock as the games start

Sure, but daily rosters I can just change it tomorrow instead...  right?

Maybe next year I can handle two leagues.  Baby steps for now.

You should be able to add a player via the Add Player link or the Players tab. The catch is you won't be able to add that player to the roster as they are locked for the day.

okay ... last relief spot, who should i start and who should i sit: jonny venters or santiago casilla?  venters is the safe play to get a certain amount of points ... but casilla could be in line to pick up the saves with brian wilson down.
