That was Sean Burrough's first HR in the Majors since 2005. Only the Nats, loser freaking organization.

I'd like to know what the hell Mcatty and JZ talked about with Kennedy on deck. Seemed like someone out on that mound should have seen that JZ was done.

they never see it.

It's not JZ's fault the offense sucks but why must he always piss his pants at the end of his outings? Or is Davey just pushing him too hard/not looking out for the team's best interest?

Maybe he wanted JZ to get the win and left him in there to finish up the inning. :?

He's tired, coming off the surgery and close to the limit for the season.

Add to this the 2nd worst run support in all of baseball and you will see why his W-L record is so bad.

with his ERA, a decent side should get him 15+ wins.

in other news, brad peacock continues to show he's ready for the next level.
Not sure about that. Still struggling with throwing too many pitches and walking batters. I'd like to see him get a chance though.

Does JZ ever get tired of giving up GW HRs every freakign outing? And doesn't Davey get sick of watching it? That has  happened on several occasions this year.

The HR to Vlad, the HR to Pena, the HR tonight, etc

Oh no, JZ likes giving up HR's.  Davey likes watching them soar out of the park.  It's been a keen disappointment this year that Ian Kennedy has given up more than JZ, cause they think JZ can be better.

Nothing special about his outing tonight. Lombardozzi is the guy who needs to be called up ASAP.

SF doesn't care.  if bernadina, flores and martis were all playing tonight we win 48-0.

Beats the freak out of me why he didn't put in Clippard after the walk.

JZ nearly walked the first batter of the inning but the guy swung and got a ground ball. And then walks the second batter. That is the definitive point to pull him. Anyone sees that, except Davey

Total fail by Davey. No double switch so Clip can only throw one inning. Incredibly stupid

Not only was he late pulling JZ but he botches it with Clippard

Cora doesn't really have the hairy chest that Davey prefers.

Were you saying that in the 9th inning of Sunday's game too?

worst loss in quite a long time. Kennedy throwing 90 mph fastballs dominating the Nats with ease. Not even breaking a sweat

if this isn't the worst loss of the season, it's definitely the most umpire aided loss of the season.

Sure, everyone could see that Burroughs, being the 50 home run guy he is, was going to hit one out if JZ stayed in the game.  It was so obvious.
