Morgan can't play better defense, Rob.  He has no baseball sense.

lannan is just  not the same as last couple of years

Lannan is the same as the last couple of years with the exception of his ERA and other worthless stats no longer outperforming his real pitching stats.

This game has 6 to 1 written all over it.
what the heck happened? It was 2-0 to start the inning I leave for a couple minutes and this?

If ERA is so worthless, then I guess it doesn't matter that he's letting up all these runs now does it?

I didn't think Lannan was ever anything more than mediocre.  A #5 in the rotation, someone you're always looking to replace with someone better.  Bullpen material.

3rd   A LaRoche grounded out to shortstop, A McCutchen scored.
3rd   L Milledge singled to center, G Jones scored, L Milledge to second on throwing error by center fielder N Morgan.
3rd   R Cedeno singled to center, L Milledge scored, R Cedeno to second advancing on throw.

Pirates     3
Nationals  2

Gotta say I'm pretty tired of watching the aura of a couple of our newer posters.

It's not Lannan's fault that the offense only has two hits.  >:(

Why is Nieves even starting?  Pudge just came off the DL.  Not like he's tired.

Pudge still belongs on the DL, with a bad back.  Who knows, maybe he'll only play Strasburg's starts and one or two other games per week.  He's been around to tutor Nieves and help McCatty.

4th   N Walker singled to center, J Tabata scored.

Pirates     4
Nationals  2

Anybody know Bob & Rob's on-air email?  I've got a trivia question I'm hoping they can get the backstage wizards to answer.

Some days Bernadina looks like the RF of the future and others he looks like total trash. Is this just a symptom of being a rookie, or is he just an erratic type hitter?

Did you see Roger smiling when Milledge missed that ball?

Dude probably hates him just as much as the others.

Dessie needs to wake up.  Been cold of late.

Yeah, 2 hits in each of the Cincy games.  Freezer burn.
