god damn it. what a joke this team is. He pitched out of that jam and the score should be 0-0.

Detwiler makes some great pitches to get out the O's two best hitters and that happens. awful

maybe bard is the new BFF?

I think it's because Bard was catching Detwiler at Syracuse AAA, same reason to have him catch for Stammen.  It's about the pitching, not the bat.

WHY WAS NOBODY COVERING 2nd on a grounder?

natinals O
oreos 1

No, Carpenter, 3 WALKS in 1 inning is NOT a good job.  [Tell his mom to spank him between innings.]

Detwiler was never in AAA. Bard never caught him prior to his first start up here.

Maybe he catches better for him now.  My first thought was that Bard playing had more to do with Detwiler pitching then it did with something wrong with Nieves.

Quote
> Josh Bard: three starts in the last four games. The Nats like the way he's calling games for the young starters. Here, he's catching Ross Detwiler for the second time. Said Manny Acta: "[Bard caught him his first outing when he came up and he threw well, so I didn't want to mess that up for the kid."

Then it's because Deltwiler is a HUGE Shakespeare fan, and Bard makes him think of that.

Things happen to this team, regularly, that almost never happen to other teams, which always makes me think curse.

We can't get swept by the O's.  We just can't.  I mean it would be the biggest kick in the face to be swept by the O's.  Come on, offense needs to get us some runs!

freak it, we might as well. It might get Acta fired.

I believe that the O's fired Sam Perlozzo after the Nats swept the O's in Baltimore a few years ago.

I hate the angelO's more than the teams in our division... and I hate all those teams with a passion.

The o's are sitting Huff and Maxwell wants to prove himself.  I think we win this one.
