That change-up to Jones was a thing of beauty. Our best against theirs.

Clippard came in to Face the Orioles, and laid down the Law. He's no Friend to hitters.

Since becoming the closer on May 22, Clippard has been unreal: 11 for 11 saves, 0 runs, 15 Ks, .028 avg & only one hit in 12 1/3 innings.

Can't see how you could think otherwise.

Should have traded Storen for Span when we had the chance. ;)

Morse's bat is beginning to heat up.  Thought Zim had some better ABs tonight too.  LaRoche was an on base machine this evening.

I used to think Storen was the future but Clipp has been unreal. He's gotta be the closer

Three game lead on the Mets, maybe four on the Braves.

The Mets haven't lost yet but the Braves have.

Jackson, Burnett and Clippard were awesome.  Even Mike Gonzalez got a soft line drive that would have been a double play even if Desmond didn't catch it.

Just enough hitting but I again saw enough hard hit balls go for outs that I'm not giving up on this team getting better on offense.

If you saw the runner on first it could have been a triple play if there were no outs.

Papplebon had a blown save win for the Phillies.  Gave up two runs in the top of the 9th and then Thome bailed him out with a homer in the bottom half.

Yup.  Outstanding movie.

Rule #1 about WNFF - tonight was the worst offensive performance of all time.

Rule #2 about WNFF - tomorrow will be the worst offensive performance of all time.

ESPN Radio had this game on tonight.  Got to listen to the last half of it while mowing the lawn.  That was a nice treat.  Would like to see the highlights.  How long til they get on the internets?
