What do you guys honestly think is going to happen?  Is anyone on the hot seat in terms of the manager, general manager, or coaches?  Are any current active roster players at risk of being outright released?

The organization needs to send the message that this is not acceptable.  We've already been through this in 2005 and history is repeating itself.

i think Rizzo is safe for next year, but I expect that we'll see Trent Jewitt or Randy Knorr at the helm next year.

Has it been determined who was responsible for the Desmond steal attempt?

You mean "hold 'em up at 3rd" Porter?

It was a double steal, so Porter had to give the sign. Did Porter misunderstand Johnson is the question.

To me what's sad is Porter and Johnson are good baseball men.   The Nats' organization is muddying even them.

I missed the game today due to the start time, and having a packed afternoon. Followed on my phone though. Our offense is atrocious. Zimm went 4-5 which is awesome, but damn everyone else was pitiful. Although Werth did come through so that's nice.

After this afternoon's disaster, a bit of Schadenfreude...Woes getting slapped round 6-2 at Toronto, top of the fourth...stealing our local telly revenue has really helped that team hasn't it?
