Laughable. Pulling a pitcher because you want him to leave on a good note or not to lose the game is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Riggleman used to do the same thing. Managing scared and no confidence in your starters. The Nats are the only team I have ever heard do this.
That's because they're the only team you watch.
