started 0-7 with Flores.

yeah, we'd be bound for the playoffs for sure, if only we still had Flores.

*le sigh*
started 0-7 and then went 10-7. we might not be playoff bound but we wouldn't be historically awful. He does a fine job leading our young pitching staff and he is probably our best clutch hitter.

I don't understand this debate. So we're 10-14 (.417) when Flores starts. We're also 10-12 (.454) when Lannan starts. Our record is 25-61 (.291) when Zimmerman starts. Does this prove that these three are nothing but pure losers?
look at Flores win/loss record compared to the other catchers on the team.

10-12 when Lannan starts. that's incredible considering how awful our bullpen, defense, and offense are.

RZ is just one player. He can't do it all himself.

there is no debate. sportsfan is just overrating his pet players again. he's saying that not having Flores is the reason we are 25-61 or whatever our horrid record is now.

It runs a lot deeper than just not having sportsfan's favorite players available.

but Flores can??? :lmao:
so you will be perfectly happy if Josh Bard is our starting catcher next season?

Flores is the missing piece of the offense and his services behind the plate are invaluable to this pitching staff.

WTF! How can you possibly say this and then before hitting post type this?

that's the most bad-ass Hayden Christianson will ever look in his life. In that scene where they are marching up to the Jedi Temple, Hayden looked like a stone-cold evil bad-ass mofo.  in every other scene in the prequel trilogy he looked like a whiny nag.

yeah.  i like the part when him and obi were light sabre battling it out and when obi makes the jump and says hayden can't make it, hayden gets freaked up.  then obi says you were a brother to me ... that whole scene was powerful.  i thought that was his best work through his two episodes.

ewan mcgregor was the most excellent casting choice for obi, he was amazing.

no, I won't.

but I'm not going to sit here and say that this team sucks only because they are missing one player. This team wasn't very good with Flores, and they are not very good without him. they may be slightly better with him, but that's still not very good.

Flores isn't lifting this team from being historically bad into playoff contention, regardless of how much you want to believe it.

they are far better with him than without him.

On Nats Xtra Holliday just said that Olsen's issue is not arm or shoulder related but is related to his back (latissimus dorsi).
