They probably thought you'd gotten lucky.

I wouldn't have been THAT excited about that haha.

We live to fight another day and I feel good about the chances

I was fist pumping on 66 as I was listening to the call on the radio.

Thanks for that, I'm glad nobody was watching me listen, because it brought tears to my eyes.

I spent the afternoon listening to C&D and packing for my move to Dallas Saturday. For the ninth inning I sat down in the middle of all my piles of stuff and just took it in... will never forget that moment. Never. I didn't cry, but... it was like a parade of dreams coming true.

I just downloaded the call and am going to edit it into an iPhone ringtone. Anyone wanting a copy, PM me. I may have to e-mail it to you unless someone has a way to host it online and link it here (if someone wants to do that, PM me). Should have it done in about 10 minutes.

It's done. About a 30-second excerpt from the pitch to the word "unbelievable." Nice and loud. I just set it as the default ringtone, so I hope my phone rings a lot when I have to make a couple of stops this afternoon (including at a rather staid retailer in Annandale to pick up something my wife ordered).

Can it be converted to BlackBerry?

I don't currently have a place to host the file online, so I'll have to e-mail it to people who PM me. Tell you what, if you PM me your e-mail address, I'll wait until around 11:30 or so to see how many PMs I get and then I'll send it to anyone interested with your addresses in the bcc field to protect your identities. I looked to see if I could use my Twitter account to host it, but it doesn't seem to support this sort of file. Neither does Photobucket.

Minty Fresh, I haven't had a Blackberry for several years and so I don't know the answer to your query, but a Google search for "convert iPhone ringtone to Blackberry" seems to imply it's doable. You might need iTunes since an iPhone ringtone is an .m4r file, which is an Apple Lossless file, although I know some other audio converters can handle Apple Lossless as well.

Of course, if the moderators have a way to host the file on the forum, I'll send it to one of them for uploading!

The PMs are starting! Happy to oblige folks....as I said, I'll respond with an e-mail in about an hour 15 minutes. It's just easier to do it that way rather than sending e-mails all day long, you know?

Yes. Much better than the TBS:

They were silent for the most part.  Probably just too stunned their Cards didn't win.
