I haven't seen the road race course...it can't be too hilly unless it's way out of London. IIRC the course in Athens was very technical, whereas the one in Sydney was largely flat with relatively few sharp corners. Don't remember Beijing (other than the smog).
west London to City Airport during rush hour would be amusing (if not particularly Olympian)
