We could be the punchline for every joke imaginable.
Not necessarily!

A minister was feeling bored one Sunday and decided to take the day off from church. He told the assistant minister he wasn't feeling well and drove off. He stopped at a golf course about forty miles away (so that no one would know him.)

Up in Heaven, the angels were talking. One said to Jesus, "Are you going to let him get away with that?" Jesus said, "No, I won't." The minister teed off on the first hole and suddenly, the wind picked up, blowing the ball right in the hole for a 420 yard hole-in-one.

The angel looked at Jesus and said, "Why did you do that?" Jesus smiled and replied, "The Washington Nationals."

...see? Doesn't work!

You have to go bowling, AZ has to attend the game, Belliard needs to play 2nd base, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

I'd also have to start the GD thread, I guess. :?

There's no defending that loser. His head is not in the game.

Maybe he's worried his wife is running around on him.

Harris blows too. 2 walks in a row and then we are swinging at freaking everything. Manny creates a stir over nothing last night but he'll just stand there and do nothing about that. If I were him I'd go get in Lopez' face and tell him how much of a POS he is.

Sometimes I'm convinced that Felipe Lopez wants the team to lose.   >:(

If you watch this team regularly it still works.

pathetic. Dumb as ****ing ****. 2 walks in a row and that jackass flies to center on 1 pitch.

Unreal. The only person who liked that was Lenny Harris. He was agressive on the first pitch and tried to go opposite field. Anytime Manny wants to jump in Lopez's face over that at bat would be ok.

I guess they did it "professionally." :?

Seriously though, shouldn't it be a rule on the team not to swing at the first pitch like that? How much power does the hitting coach actually have? If I was a hitting coach, I'd have a rulebook w/ all of those "don't freaking swing" situations in it.

Maybe he KNOWS that she's running around on him.

She told him that she will cheat, every time he flies out.

Another free pass issued by a reliever. Ridiculous. How many times a week does Aponte have to suck off Manny to keep his job?

I need to find out where she hangs out then.

Me too. It's a shame we have almost zippy options in Columbus.

One or the other, though. I don't know how anyone could choose a guy who has been in the league this long and has the exact same problems over a guy who's younger and less experienced.

oh man. The Mutts had a 3-run lead in the 9th with 2 on and 2 out and Wagner gave up a 3 run bomb to Reynolds.
