I'm sorry, but in this instance I agree with Sportsfan a little bit. I won't go to his extremes(like saying Manny should be fired or anything, because that's just nonsense) nor will I rant like he does about it, but I can certainly understand where he is coming from.

when I sat down in the movie theater it was 10-3(I think). I just got home now and saw the score I was like WTF?

sure we won, and I am damn happy that we did.  a win is a win, naturally.

but hopefully that doesn't mean that almost blowing a 7 run lead in the bottom of the 9th is acceptable.

Jimenez has actually been great starting for us.  He just sucks as a pinch hitter.  For him to be successful he has to get consistent ABs.

Jimenez has suspect defense. I like tha duo of Guzman and Lopez best. Lopez is allstar at 2b but for some reason his defense drops off at ss. I've played ss befre and i can't imagine it being a substantially more difficult position to play than 2b, but maybe it is.

I have certainly warmed up to Jimenez, he's really been hot the last few weeks ... and he's servicable at SS ... I do agree with metssuck though ... our best up the middle is Guzman at SS and Lopez at 2nd ... with Zim at third and hopefully NJ at first ...that's a very stout infield ...
