Surprised he wasn't like ,"these things apparently have edges that can be sharpened for when it gets icy. I wouldn't know how to even go about doing that though". Also, I'm not up on the latest ski designs but those look like something meant for powder anyway. Probably don't even need edges.

You should send him back a piece of taped cardboard that says "freak you"

Yeah, and when I've got the dry heaves from dehydration in Rock Creek Park in August with vultures circling overhead, that bastard will be in waders in some icy freaking stream flyfishing with a mountain chick in daisy dukes bringing him beer. No justice.

But I do like the skis. I demoed a pair a couple weeks ago - they are surprisingly effective on ice.

I think I'm ruined for eastern trout fishing.  It's either smallmouth bass here, or western trout.
