NSO violin player. Tuned it himself, put in the pickups. He's a fixture now, and deservedly so. Teaches kids how music can be cool, for one thing. Sounds great, for another.

Music is cool.   Started when I was twelve with instruments of one kind or another.    Fifty years ago ...

I think you keep Stammen over Atilano.  His peripherals are so much better and he's a better all-around pitcher.  Atilano is mediocre, Stammen is unlucky.  They're both due for an adjustment and I want the guy with upside to stay in the rotation.

Agreed.

Atilano and his 5 wins reminds me of Martis from last year.

1st rounders tend to have upside  Atilano has some tricky pitches.

SOMEONE WAS WEARING NATIONALS HULK HANDS! Is that real product or were they homemade? ME WANT!

They're definitely sold at the stadium.  I think in the program stands.  They need a cupholder so you can drink with it.

I don't know why they were being so coy about drafting Harper.  It's not like they can trade the pick.

Didn't sound like Rizzo was coy at all.

Come on Wil. If you can't hit you have to at least be able to bunt!

They were up until now.  They could have just said they were going to draft Harper, weeks ago.  There was no reason to not say it.

I think if you don't hedge then it could be binding. I dunno.

Yeah, but the Boras factor changes everything.  Announcing that pick two months ago wouldve driven the price up

Harper could blow out his knee tripping on a curb. It's good to wait, I think.

You don't want to give up any leverage in a negotiation.  Saying you're going to draft him weeks ahead of time says that you think no one else even comes close to being as good as him.  Even if it's for show, you can't give an inch.  Obviously we're drafting Harper, I never doubted it for a second.
