I think one of his reasons for not giving him a day off is to keep him batting behind Zimmerman during this streak. Also, he's pretty hot himself.

I keep saying this and people keep ignoring me.

Belliard - Nieves - Cabrera....

Randy Johnson is facing the most dangerous bottom of the line up of his career.

nice, willingham increasin his trade value
Ugh, it sucks that Willingham would be the one to go considering he has a much better contract (and he's controlled through arb for the next year or two).

But Kearns's contract is untradeable.  Thanks again, Bowden!

That's not true.

"According to the Official Baseball Rules, such a streak is ended when a player has at least 1 plate appearance and no hits. A streak shall not be terminated if all official plate appearances result in a base on balls, hit by pitch, defensive interference or a sacrifice bunt. A sacrifice fly shall terminate the streak."

Yea, thats what I thought. That would make no sense to punish someone who was walked all times without ever recording an out.

Wow that is a murderer's row.  The 3 Amigos.  Fat Ronnie, Nieves, and Cabrera in a row.

freak that. he failed again with a runner on third and less than two outs. we are a last place team and need all the runs we can get with Cabrera on the mound.

Yea, I want to trade Kearns over Willingham. Not just cause of these recent homers, but I feel hes played alot better than Kearns over the past years. Kearns is playing really well so far, I just hope he continues it then I wouldn't be upset with who we trade, IF WE TRADE. :(

I hate that song too. It does belong to the Sox and, just like Dibs said, we should get our own song. Screw anything that is associated with the Sawx.

I like it too and I love when people sing along with songs like that, but I do agree, we use it the same exact time the Sox use it. We obviously copied it. We need our own song like, Lady Lumps for some reason.

Well, we do have "Nuts about the Nats".
