I can never stay awake on Friday nights. Fell asleep on the couch halfway through. :/

...good old bedside radio for me - caught the beginning, part of the middle and the last three innings.

I've got a Mystics match at the Phone Booth tonight but those normally let out about 21.00 so I should get home in time to catch the late innings.

Speaking of Morse, his WAR (2.5) is 65th out of all position players. Good, but it seems like he's better than that.

Shouldn't it be higher? Is there something that significantly hurts it?

Keep in mind that WAR is a cumulative stat. Morse was also hurt by not receiving consistent playing time in April and early May. That combined with being a first baseman hurts him. He'll be higher than 65th by the end of the year though.

Juan Nicasio had surgery on fractured C-1 vertebrae in his neck. Juan will remain hospitalized as he recovers from the surgery.

4 hits for Desmond eh?  Lobson will be shouting his name from the rooftops tomorrow :lmao:

There should be an echo also.

last 30 days desmond is hitting .315.  last 10 games, he's checking in with a .355 clip (3 bb to 5 k  for him).  hopefully he keeps this up, b/c his ops is - as emmitt smith would say - it's badddddddddddddddd.
