Don't know how good it is, but a friend of mine loves Pho King in Alexandria just for the name.  It's funny if you pronounce it right.  We have to put up with the dumb jokes for days after he goes.

hee hee.  The Costa Ricans or the bananas?

That's a really good question.  I've seen Frau Mau's beau, and he's a little taller, a little skinnier, and a little more crooked than the typical Costa Rican, so it remains an open question.

Frau Mau, if you can find a pic it will help greatly in the ID. And Tom, Costa Ricans are spicy, not creamy.

It's a Fingered Citron, or Buddha's Hand (Citrus medica).

Glad to hear that.  I thought maybe blue was living on a nuclear waste dump.

Thanks Salty. I figured I'd fool around with some Snapper and see how it worked.

Do they taste better than Peugeots?

Dinner - some nice cuts of filet from the store, gonna sear them and melt some gorgonzola on top.  Yum.

Totally accidental. I didn't even realize the Saints were playing. I just was flipping through the cookbook and thought it sounded good and hearty. The lentil chili last week was good, but...a little too much fiber for some family members, if you get my drift....

What do you have in  your pantry/fridge?

There's always grilled cheese, and the nice thing about that is you can sub different kinds of bread, cheese or 'butter'.

I had that at a restaurant the other day but it cost me a lot more I'm sure. Why steak and stinky cheese go so well together, I'll never understand.
