They rock. Does any one else have a hard time telling their voices apart or is that my personal affliction?
Who?I'm guessing these are the radio guys?I've never listened to a Nats game on the radio.[...]
You're missing something - baseball is THE sport for radio (and now sounding better than ever with the Nats' move to FM-106.7).
Yeah, for me there's nothing like a summer night on the deck listening to Charlie and Dave.
Their timbres are similar but still distinguishable (probably because, as noted earlier, I remember Slowes from his Bullets radio days - those not familiar with that earlier stint may have more difficulty distinguishing them).
Charlie says, "Pujols in his last year of a 7 year, $100,000 contract... no wait, that doesn't sound right"
Dave: "When was the last time the Nationals batted around in an inning? We'll get our crack research staff on that... Charlie, look faster."
I hear 2 voices. Which is Charlie and which is Dave; I'm not quite sure.
Driving home with the windows down...taking the long way.
Anyone here ever listen to the White Sox radio or TV guys? Jesus what total homer bores. Totally made me appreciate Charlie and Dave that much more.
Hawk a homer? I never noticed.
I had totally forgotten how absolutely dreadful he was until last night.
I think I recall that our resident White Sox authority is in agreement with this assessment.
Any White Sux related is beneath contempt to placate their drooling fanbase.
