Detwiler is starting to fell some fatigue, he walks Jeff Bianchi to put a runner in scoring position. Randy Knorr takes a stroll to the mound, along with the rest of the infield. After a short conference, Knorr decides to leave Detwiler in for the rest of the inning, pending a blow-up. Bad decision by Knorr, as Detwiler shows his characteristic trait, a fifth walk. End of the game for Detwiler, his line: 5.1 IP, 2 H, 5 BB, 4 SO. He leaves the game in line for the win, but with the base loaded.
