Ex-Met Manager Bobby Valentine is apparently no fan of Dibble:

Seems like he's just LOVED...geez. We couldn't find ANYONE else?

Oh, Bobby Valentine knows what he is talking about. He was such a Saint:

Quote
Valentine is also infamous for a dubious incident during a 1999 game in which he was discovered to have sneaked back into the team dugout after being ejected, by wearing a disguise consisting of a change of clothes, sunglasses, and a "moustache" painted on with eye black. In early 2000, Valentine was at the center of what would be called "Whartongate," in which he allegedly mentioned to students at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business somewhat cynical, insider comments regarding a handful of Mets players and the organization as a whole.

lmao

The Valentine disguise thing was hilarious.

Throwing bats at people in the stands is not.

I like Dibble for the fact he can nicely blend in the background of the game and almost disappear, which how a commentator should be during a game considering I'm watching the game and not him.

When have you heard him do a game?
